I am unwinding and trying to straighten up my studio today after the weekend art show.
Here is a picture of my booth. The show went really well, the crowds were out browsing and the weather was gorgeous! It is always so much fun for me to get out there and talk with my customers. Everyone is so nice and encouraging. There is not a whole lot of mixed media artwork happening in this town, so people are always surprised to see what I do.
One of the best things about doing a show is checking out the other artists. I usually scout out what I like and end up doing some trades with them. These are a few of the goodies I brought home this time.
They are both gorgeous pieces that I am thrilled to have!
My friend and fellow artist, Linda Abbott, came to visit me at the show. She brought along my belated Christmas present (long story). I thought I would share it here.
I think it is absolutely adorable. Linda is so talented and comes up with the most precious designs.
One more things I would like to share...Gillian Allen from Art-e-Zine has done a great spread on my assemblage birds. Check out her link for some great how-to ideas and projects.
That's all for now- hope everyone has a great day!
