7 hours later, and the side of my face is still numb from the mammoth Novocaine shot I got this morning. My temporary crown is in place, though, and the worse part is over with. I'm sure my jaw will be achy for the rest of the evening, so I am going to just lay around and take it easy.
I did get my new assemblage dolls listed on etsy this afternoon. This "domestic diva" is holding her younin' and getting ready to make herself a pot of tea.
The "acid queen" likes to whip around the house cleaning everything in sight. Martha Stewart, eat your heart out! I love these old tins, sometimes the graphics on them are so retro and artsy looking. I especially love the muted colors, like this aqua blue color.
This doll/shrine has more of a fantasy, feminine look about her. I used a small tintype for the face and brass picture frame molding as a headdress. The fabric dress on front covers a tin that opens up with a message inside. This piece would be perfect in a little girls room....maybe with a fairy princess or storybook theme. Hmmm....I think big girls (one's my age) could appreciate this piece as well : )
I am going to keep this short and lay low for the evening.
Take care xo Jeanette
