I am feeling much better now and have been busy whiling away the hours. I am excited about my revamped chair that I have in my studio. I picked this up at a second hand store a few months ago for $30. The wood was scratched up and stained brown. It had a grungy fabric seat on it. This is the finished result after many hours of sanding, painting and coating with urethane. I found this pretty pink velour to cover the seat with. I love the way it came out. A big hug to my DH since he did most of the work : )
I've been working on some new earring designs. These are made with vintage watch cogs and gears.
I used old typewriter keys as the base of the earrings. It was fun coming up with these designs, but also a little difficult working with these teeny little parts. I like drifting over to the steam punk style now and then. I am not completely into it, but I can see my style being complimented by it.
One more thing...I spent most of the day yesterday listing a bunch of new things in my supply shop. I cleaned out lots of pictures that I have been holding onto and grouped them into lots for sale. I still have tons of old cabinet cards and tintypes, but decided to start letting some of these go. If I have not used them in years, what is the point in holding onto them? I like to keep my stock fresh. So take a moment and stop over!
Have a good day.

I Hope your feeling Better.I love your new chair and those earring are gorgeous
