I finished a few dolls and got them listed on etsy today. The first one pictured here is already sold, but the other is still available. I made these using collage sheets from Moss Hill Studio. I love Joanna's dresses, they are so adorable and of the best printed quality. This doll is one of my favorites...I think it is because of the quote on her front. "My sweetheart's The Man in the Moon." I may make up another doll or 2 in this style.
This 2nd doll has a tintype face and lots of trinkets and charms dangling from the bottom of her dress.
If you are looking for some supplies to make your own assemblages or art dolls, I just listed quite a bit of new stuff in my supply shop. You will find chandelier crystals, rusted metal pieces and more. One of my favorite finds is this ledger from an apothecary in Philadelphia. The book actually lists "Record of Poisons sold." Most of the poison listed is Parepectolin, which I looked up and it is an anti-diarrhea medication. Poisonous??....hmmm
Sometimes it is so much fun to read these ledgers from the past. They can really take you back to the events that were happening at that time. I guess alot of people were sick with stomach problems!
I still have not done anything with the dolls I wrote about in my last post. They sit sadly in the box they arrived in. I have caught up with orders though, and hope to find some time to clean them up and arrange them tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a good day.
I just love your supply shop--you always have such great stuff, at fair prices, & you ship out so quickly which is really nice! Thanks for sharing your goodies with the rest of us. Cheers!

Your assemblage dolls are so creative and clever. I've been wanting to try my hand at it, but am intimidated. Will poke around your supplies and perhaps get inspired.
