Today was a day off, with no pressures or obligations to meet. Sleeping in this morning and relaxing with a cup of coffee, or two. Throwing the ball up and down the hallway as my little dog furiously ran after it.
By early afternoon, we headed over to a neighbor's house for a home cooked Sunday dinner. Pork roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, black eyed peas simmering in the crock pot, sweet honeydew melon and cold iced tea. It tasted heavenly. Sometimes it is so nice to have someone else cook for you. Why is that? And for dessert....warm brownies with vanilla ice cream. It doesn't get much better than that.
A little later in the afternoon I decided to take a little drive and shoot some pictures.
I've been spending an awfully lot of time in my studio, listing items in my supply shop and squeezing in some artwork in between.
So I just gave myself the day off to do as I pleased.
So now the day is winding down and everyone is tired. Hope you all had a good day too!
