Studio photos

I thought I would post a few pictures of the new studio area.  We've been working for the past few days trying to get everything set up before Christmas and company gets here.

Total chaos...everything is at the location, but lots of work to do.

Where to begin???

What a difference a few days make...

A little rearranging, a little organizing...and I think I actually have a workable space. 

I dug this mannequin out of a closet at home.  I had nowhere to display it...now she has a brand new place to call home! 

These silver spray painted antlers were a Christmas gift from my friend, Jan.  I love the fact that she added a row of rhinestones to bling them up.

A vintage easel and stool.  I wonder how many people have sat at this easel painting in the past?

Lots of drawers for storage.  I cringe when I think back how the movers carried this unit up the stairs.  I was holding my breath that they wouldn't slip!

Of course, I had to dedicate some space for work, so I set up a partition and have all of my work related stuff hidden behind it.

This will look better soon when I get it organized. 

OK, just wanted to check in to let you know that I am still here.  These past few days have been really busy, but I think the worst of it is over now.

Will the store be open to the public? I live in Lexington, so I would love to have a place close by with vintage supplies!
