Tree of Life

I love trees....big, old majestic ones that have been around forever.  I could never be a city gal; I need to have trees around me.  I think they have a certain power and presence and I take great comfort in their majesty.  This is a good time of year to really look at trees.  Without leaves, you can see their skeleton frames. 

This tree is not too far from my home. 

I think its amazing.  Wow, can you imagine a treehouse built among the branches?  Never mind the kids, I would love that!

I thought it would be fun to share a few more photos with you.  Nothing special;  just pictures I took while driving around my town.

This is the side of the building right around the corner from where Vintage Supply Co. is now located.  I love seeing this everyday.

I had to add a little fake snow to this photo using a filter.  I wish we would get some snow, but with the mild winter we are having, it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

How many people could get away with painting their house pink?  It sounds hideous, but when it's pink on a shabby old house, it definitely works!
