It's an amazing thing how pictures seem to pile up on the computer, and if you are like me, you're hesitant to get rid of them for good. As the years go by, I just keep backing it all up and loading it onto the next computer I get.
A few days ago, I was filling out applications for Spring shows (yes, some are already due!) and I was searching for a good booth shot. I opened a file called "shows" and found these old pictures. I'm thinking these are about 8-10 years ago.
They bring back good memories. I worked so hard to get everything made for my shows.....hmmm, still do.
That's a rather sparse looking setup...I wonder what I was thinking?
(Sweet Carla just wrote to tell me she has the two assemblages circled and she still loves them as much today. Thank you for letting me know!)
I wonder where all my artwork is today??? Everything in these pictures sold....a long time ago. I remember every piece, though.
I was in my doll phase here.
I remember how exciting it was to actually sell my artwork. You mean people want to buy what I make?? I was a bit naive back then, but fearlessness comes with inexperience. That was a good thing. Now I think twice before diving in feet first.
Oh well, I wish I could say I have it all figured out since I'm a bit older now.....but that's certainly not the case. Hope you enjoyed strolling down memory lane with me.
