It's about a week til Christmas now and I can hardly believe it. Where did December go?
We finally got the house decorated and are just enjoying the quietness and twinkling lights.
We have our tree behind the front door so you can see it lit up at night from outside.
I love having mantels to decorate during the Holidays.
Now that my house is decorated and my shows are over, I had a bit of spare time on my hands. I decided to make up a lot of assemblage dolls. I wanted to have a few for Christmas presents, so I figured I'd make some extras, too.
I've had the pitch pipe on the left for so long. I had it stashed away in a drawer and always knew I would use it in a project one day. I LOVE the black and white graphics on it.
The gent button was a flea market find favorite. That too has been waiting for the right project.
Enamel flower pins have so much potential....they are just fabulous!
This guy really has a steampunk vibe going on. I figured this could be a unisex gift for the holidays.
The glitter in the center of this keyhole gives it just a little bit of bling.
One of my favorite dolls. She's just so carefree and quirky.
It felt really good to be back working on dolls again. It's a "roll up your sleeves and dive right in" kind of process.
I snapped this picture on my phone one evening before I started cleaning up for the day. I'm sure many of you can relate!
OK, that's it for now. Hope your week is going well.
