When the New Year rolled around, I made the same promise to myself that I make every year. Exercise more, eat healthier, take better care of myself. It's a month later and I am actually staying on task...for the most part. I run most mornings, have cut out the junk food and I am shedding a few pounds. Next week I am starting this Jeanne Oliver class.
It will probably be just what I need at this stage because I am starting to feel a bit of diet burnout after 6 weeks. I can't wait...hopefully I will get some new recipes to try and a good dose of motivation. If you're interested, you can sign up HERE or just check it out.
Let's see....what else is going on?
I've been working on artwork and jewelry making big time. I finished up about 4 dozen of the escutcheon plate assemblages that I wrote about a few weeks ago. I think I have plenty to carry me through my shows for awhile.
I just finished up these cute "Junk" pendants for you hard core flea marketers.
I have them in my etsy shop if you want to take a peek.
Speaking of flea marketing....I braved the cold last Saturday and made a trip to the flea market and salvage yard.
I watched the weather report the day before and the temperatures were supposed to be in the 60's. Yikes, it was plenty cold out there in the early morning....nowhere near 60 degrees.
It was worth it though.....found lots of goodies to bring home with me.
I've also been busy listing "lots" of items in my etsy shop. Sometimes, I just need to weed through it all and get rid of piles of stuff all at once.
You can find this listing HERE.
This group is HERE.
I plan to continue listing lots of items, so I hope you will check back with me in the next few weeks.
OK, that's a good catch-up for now. Hope you are doing well....
One last thing, if you've tried to leave a comment and it was just too much trouble, I apologize. I had to change my settings on accepting comments because I was getting about 100 spam comments a day and they were driving me crazy. You can still leave a comment, but I think they will require a bit more information from you before they publish it. I also love getting email and of course, facebook is easy and instantaneous.
Bye for now!
