Well, I guess the official show season has started. A week from today, I will be packing up my car for the Spring Jubilee. I have been spending some long days in my studio getting ready for 3 shows I have coming up in April and May.
There's always last minute scrambling to do....making sure everything is priced, working on final displays...etc. etc.
And then you just hold your breath and hope the crowds show up and pray they like what you make.
I'm really excited about getting back out there and talking with people and being part of a show. Don't let anyone tell you it's not hard work. The set-up and break-down is physically grueling, being perky and chatty all day long gets old, hours and hours on your feet makes you want to fall into bed at night...but it's also really fun and and so, so rewarding. I wouldn't want to do it week after week like some full time show people do, that would be too much like a job. 6 or 7 shows a year is just perfect for me.
A few times a week, I try to dedicate a full day to just listing new items. Please give it a peek from time to time to check out what's new.
And last but not least....Simon. My fur ball of constant motion and naughtiness. He has his own bedroom that we put him in when he just gets to be too much. He is tormenting the household with his craziness, but he's also adorably sweet and melts my heart every day.
Can't you just see the wickedness in his face? Hee-Hee...he's so bad.
OK, now that you are up to date, it's time for me to get busy....much to do today.
Until next time!
