I've had a little too much time on the road during the last two days, so today I stay home and get some work done in the studio. On Friday, I drove my mom to Asheville, NC to get the final paperwork finished for her upcoming move. We had sustenance on the way at the Green Sage Cafe. We will definitely be making return visits there! I love having a healthy lunch that gives me energy instead of a heavy one that just slows me down during the afternoon.
We made a quick trip to the downtown area before heading home. I was a little distracted shopping, so this was the only picture I managed to get that day.
On Saturday, I was off to the Savvy Restyle Market at the Opry House in Greer, SC. This is a pop-up market that goes on once a month. I have always wanted to do it, but the timing never seems to be right for me.
I love how she uses suitcases in her display.
This suave gent greeted us at the door.
It's always inspirational to go to these kind of markets. It really helps me to connect with like minded people in the art and junking world.
It can't be all play and no work for me, though. I came home that afternoon and got a few new items listed in my etsy shop. These doll heads would be great in an art project.
This old purple bottle really speaks for itself.
What could be better for collage art than cursive writing?
Hope you all have a good Sunday. Don't forget about daylight savings time. This means Spring is on the way....that's a very good thing!
