Well, here we are again with another show just a few days away. This will be an outdoor show, so I've been tracking the weather obsessively all week long. At the moment, there's only a 20% chance of rain. That's much better than the forecast at the beginning of the week. Huge sigh of relief! Either way, we'll make the best of it. Rain will not scare away the faithful shoppers...and those are the ones that usually come to buy.
Here's a couple pictures of my booth at the last show I did; The Savvy Restyle Market.
I've finally gotten around to pulling and pricing everything I have been making over the winter months, so I will have lots of new inventory to offer this time around.
What else....oh, yes, in between shows, I had a yard sale. This was spur of the moment, but I am so glad I did it. I grabbed almost everything out of my backyard shed and rented storage unit and slapped a price it.
We had droves of people all morning long. It felt so good to be rid of most of it. I could really connect to some of the people buying that morning. I had women loading their cars up with things that I had bought from thrift stores or auctions. I could see the excitement in their eyes that I once felt for these items. I'm glad most of it went off to a good home.
I'm going to wrap this up with a little special. When you come by the show this weekend, tell me you saw it here for a 10% discount on your purchase.
For those of you that are too far away to attend, use the coupon code TAKE10 in my etsy shop, Vintage Supply Co. for a 10% discount.
Have a great day!
