I made it over to the Jockey Lot this morning. I like to go to these places early to beat the crowds and the heat, so I left the house at the crack of dawn. It was an interesting place to say the least! They had everything there from tombstones to turkeys. Of course they had a lot of neat old stuff that I collect as well. I saw a wonderful metal robot that I was crazy about, but I couldn't quite bring myself to pay the price that they wanted. When did robots become so trendy?? If it is there next time I go, I'll offer him a bit less and see what happens. Of course in the meantime, I'll be kicking myself for not getting it!
I listed a few new things on etsy when I returned home today. I really love the way this "Destiny" doll came out. She has an optical lens head and a dress from Moss Hill Studios collage sheets.
On a more masculine side, this "Father Time" piece somehow mixes old with futuristic. It's a fun piece that makes you look twice at all of the different elements used. Maybe it was more than a coincidence that I saw a robot this morning. I think this piece has some robot qualities about it. The universe seems to work in mysterious ways.
These are just awesome I love your father time
